The Wise Childcare difference: Why quality is worth the wait

At Wise Childcare, I provide a truly personalised early education experience within a small, home-based setting. By intentionally keeping numbers low, I am able to know each child deeply; understanding their personality, interests, learning style, and emotional needs. This allows me to plan purposeful next steps that support meaningful progress, rather than offering generic activities.

My approach is grounded in child development and emotionally informed practice. I provide calm, consistent boundaries that help children develop emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience. When children feel secure and understood, they become active learners who take ownership of their growth and development.

I combine structure with flexibility to create an environment that promotes independence, concentration, and genuine school readiness. Learning is intentional, routines are clear, and expectations are consistent. Children leave my setting confident, capable, and exceptionally well prepared for their transition to Reception.

How to join my waiting list

To register your interest in a future place at Wise Childcare, please complete the enquiry form below. To help me assess availability and meet your child’s needs, please include:

  • Your child’s age (or date of birth)
  • The days and times required
  • Your preferred start date
  • Any additional needs, medical information, or specific requirements

Providing accurate information allows meto ensure the best fit for your child.

Important details & what to expect

Once we receive your enquiry, I  will confirm that your details have been successfully logged within my system. I will then contact you when a suitable space becomes available, or if we require any further information.

Wise Childcare operates term-time only, Monday to Thursday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Please ensure these days and hours meet your childcare requirements before registering your interest.

As our setting is intentionally small, availability is limited, and waiting times can vary significantly depending on your child’s age, the days required, and your preferred start date. Joining the waiting list does not guarantee a place but ensures your details are carefully recorded and considered when a suitable space becomes available.

Please note that we have two well-trained and well-behaved dogs within my home setting. Families must be comfortable with children being in an environment where dogs are present. If your child has a dog allergy or you are not comfortable with dogs, my setting may not be suitable. Places are allocated thoughtfully to ensure the best fit for each child and to maintain the calm, structured environment that Wise Childcare is known for.
